Roasted Butternut Squash

Roasting squash makes a tasty dish. My family liked it – and around my house not all squash recipes get a happy reception.

Squash with Wild Rice

I peeled and cut up a Butternut Squash. In a pyrex pan I dotted butter on the pieces (may 2 Tbsp), dusted with cinnamon and brown sugar. Roast at 375 degrees for about 30 min until the pieces are soft and easily pierced with a fork..

Meanwhile I started a rice packet that I got at Wegmans, a local groceries stores. The combination was delicious.
